Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, supporting employees, and contributing to a positive work culture. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution across various HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, and talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements
- Oversee HR Systems and ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and proper utilization
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending job offers
- Develop and maintain effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate successfully into the organization
- Process payroll in conjunction with HR Director, providing accurate data and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Assist in performance management processes, including reviews, goal-setting, and career development discussions
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with broad knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Problem solving mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Knowledge of car wash and convenience retail operations preferred
